3 Days Safarai tour combined with walking in Vashlovani. Explore Eagles Gorge, Khornabudji Fortress and Mt. Elias near Dedoplistkaro. Drive to Pantishara and Datviskhevi Canyons, overnight in Mijniskure bay area and visit Black Rock Monastery on your last day.
9:00 AM pick- up from Tbilisi and drive to Dedoplistskaro (approx. 2.5 hours’ drive) to register in Administration of Vashlovani Protected Areas. After registering start your first day exploring nearby area.
Drive towards Eagles Canyon and take a short walk (approx. 4 km, 1 hour).
Next stop is “Khornabuji” Fortress, 5th century historical monument, located approximately two miles / 3 kilometers north of Dedoplistsqaro. The castle’s ruines are sited on the imposing Tsiv-Gombori Range – offering great panoramic views of Caucasus mountains an Alazani valley. Take a short hike to reach the top viewpoint and return back to Dedoplistsqaro for overnight.
After the fortress, drive south from Dedoplistskaro center to reach Mount Elias, a limestone rock formation with double summit visible from all around the area.
